The world is ready to take notice of a group that has recently torn apart the underground scene in the Los Angeles area. From the Sick Symphony family, Street Platoon consists of Cynic(left) and Crow(right), both from the streets of Los Angeles. These two sick soldiers quickly bring the heat during live shows, pumping up the audience in a warlike manner. Expect the same from their debut album "The Steel Storm".
This is a photo I took for my compilation I'm putting together
titled "The Ollin Project". Featuring some of top underground groups
from the Greater Los Angeles area. This photo was taken of downtown Los Angeles from the Pico-Aliso housing projects in Boyle Heights. Which
is not too far from where I grew up at as a child (Lincoln Heights).
Kemo the blackican from Deliquent Habits at the Knitting Factory located on Hollywood Boulevard.
Kemo is one of the best bilingual rappers out there. Lookout for the re-release of "Merry Go Round" being released worldwide through Universal.
This is one of a series of photos I took of Jacken. From the revolutionary hip-hop group The Psycho Realm. Jacken is from the Pico-Union area of downtown Los Angeles. Home to the infamous Rampart division of the L.A.P.D. Jacken and his brother Duke were rapping about the corruption years before the scandal received nationwide
media attention. Some might even consider them modern day Prophets.
